Mary Cameron

Mary is currently a member of the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal (VCAT), sitting full time in the Human Rights Division, which exercises jurisdiction under Victorian statutes, including the:

  • Powers of Attorney Act 2014;

  • Guardianship and Administration Act 2019;

  • Equal Opportunity Act 2010;

  • Health Records Act 2001;

  • Privacy and Data Protection Act 2014;

  • VCAT Act 1998;

  • Disability Act 2006; and

  • Mental Health and Wellbeing Act 2022.

Mary has previously practiced as an in-house counsel with a major government owned corporation, been a member of the Migration and Refugee Review Tribunals, as well as a member of the Administrative Appeals Tribunal.

Additionally, she is a nationally accredited mediator and has worked as a mediator and concilliator in a number of jurisdictions.
